Brief

Palm Springs-based interior designer Carla Sebastian approached me to revamp her portfolio and establish a personal brand that embodied her sophisticated yet understated design philosophy. From carefully selecting a color palette to integrating various textures, I aimed to ensure that Carla's passion for Mid-Century design principles and her commitment to adaptive reuse were authentically represented in her new brand identity. The inclusion of earthy tones such as sage, olive, mustard, and dusty rose mirrors Carla's down-to-earth personality, while the incorporation of natural textures like terrazzo and paper pulp underscores her dedication to sustainability.

In the process of creating her logo, I crafted a simple yet elegant monogram that serves as a highly recognizable symbol, suitable for application across a wide range of materials – from business cards to resumes, establishing a cohesive visual thread throughout all branding materials.
